CaO + O2= CaO.....Ca=40gm O2=16*2 and CaO=56gm...Okey so we get 56 gm CaO from 40 gm Ca. So we get 28 gm CaO

2Ca +O2 --->@CaO
80 grams ca reacts with 112 grams . Hence 20 grams will react with 28 grams of CaO

explanation was absolutely correct but instead of "@" it must be 2

actual reaction : 2 Ca + O2 ---> 2CaO
