A Solenoid is kept in North-South Orientation. Now current is passed and from the north side, it seems to be clockwise. Now if a compass is placed inside the solenoid. What is the direction of the compass needle then? [Assume Current To be strong enough]

East South West North

The solution may be wrong but i think it's correct.

When current flows clockwise seen from north then it has acquired south polarisation because

And the other is north. Now we know the Magnetic Field Line enters from South To THe North. See.

Hence We see that the compass needle will get delflection towards south as Magnetic field is much stronger by the current that by the Earth. Hence it moves to S o u t h South
