The last option is correct since:

24 horses and 50 humans have in total 74 heads,

And 24*2 + 50 * 4 = 196 LEGS since horse have 4 legs and man have 2

\therefore satisfies the condition !!

let number of human=x & horse=y since human & horse have one head each then, x+y=74.....(1) =>x=74-y and human have 2 legs & horses have 4 legs then 2x+4y=196 .....(2) =>2(74-y) +4y=196 =>148 -2y+4y=196 =>2y=196-148 =>2y=48 =>y=48/2 =>y=24 Now, from (1) x+24=74 =>x=74-24 =>x=50 The numbers of human=50 & horses=24
