365=52 weeks+1 day, so if the first day of the year is Friday then we have 53 Fridays. (Since 7 consecutive days contains exactly one Friday each year contains at least 52 Fridays, and 3 6 6 < 5 3 ⋅ 7 : we can not have more than 53.)
