A father's age is 4 times the age of his elder son and 5 times the age of his younger son. When the elder son lived to three times his present age,the father's age will exceed his younger son's age by 32yrs. What is the age of the father?

The age difference of two people remains the same always so age of father - age of younger brother =32 Also Age of father = 5(age of younger brother) So x-y=32,x=5y Or 5y-y=32,4y=32 y=8 x=5y=5×8=40 So age of father is 40.
