The answer is obviously straight because the sides of a square are always straight

it is a optical illusion. so we see them as not straight lines

we can see that it is not a straight line.If the illusion is removed we can see the straight line.

A simple optical illusion
See one side of the square and you will find it to be straight
Its just because of circles at the background

if see this pic from a distance the sides will be stright

It appears to be contracted because our eye trys to send an image of curve as well as straight line simultaneously and due to many concentric circles main focus is accumulated in the center ,thus appears contracted.
