In an examination 52% candidates failed in physics and 43% failed in maths ,14% failed in both the subjects .If the total number of candidates who passed in physics alone are 29,then the total number of candidates are.

All you basically need is the 43% and the 14% that failed in both. 43%-14%=29% 29 people passed and it is 29% 1 person is 1% 100 people=100%
