A small ball of mass m m is being moved along the curved path of a smooth hemispherical surface of radius R R from point A A to point B B . A force ( F = 2 m g F = 2mg ) is always acting along the tangent to the path. The kinetic energy of the ball when it will reach to B B is:

m g π 2 R -mg\frac { \pi }{ 2 } R zero -mgR m g R ( π 1 ) mgR\left( \pi -1 \right)

Just write the equation for motion ie 2mg-mgsin(€)=mvdv/ds , € is the angle the ball makes with vertical , and ds=R(d€) , Substitute and solve for velocity(v)
