total work = 24 men * 8 hrs * 10 days

the same amount of work can be done by :

m m men * 10 hrs * 6 days

m 10 6 = 24 8 10 \Rightarrow m * 10 * 6 = 24 * 8 * 10

m = 4 8 = 32 \Rightarrow m = 4*8 = \boxed{32}

The total work can be expressed as 24x8x10 =1920, then 1920/10/6=32 men.
