Don't be fooled by that "divide by 1/2"!!

It's 30/(1/2)+10

and that means

30*1/(1/2)+10

30*2+10

60+10

70

$30 \div \frac{1}{2} +10=70$

$\Rightarrow$ $30 \div$ $\dfrac{1}{2}$ $= 60$

$60 + 10 = 70$

While dividing 30 by 1/2, 2 goes to numerator and multiplies thus giving product 60 and after adding 10 the sum is 70

• 30:1/2 = 60
• 60+10 = 70

30/1/2 =30*2 =60 + 10 =70
