A classical mechanics problem by Yogesh Ghadge

From a tower of height H , a particle is thrown vertically upwards with a speed u. The time taken by the particle , to hit the ground , is n times that taken by it to reach the highest point of its path

The relation between H,u and n is :

gH=(n-20)^2 * u^2 2gH=nu^2(n-2) gH=(n-2)u^2 2gH=n^2 * u^2

let time taken to reach max hieght-t and time taken to hit the ground - T

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> t=u/g and >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> -H = uT- 1/2 gT T and T=nt so -H=nu u/g-1/2 n n u*u/g or 2gH=nu^2(n-2)
