( ( 1 + 0 ! + 1 + 0 ! ) ! + 1 ) × ( 0 ! + 1 ) = 50 ((1+0!+1+0!)!+1)×(0!+1) = 50

That's ((1+1+1+1)!+1)(1+1) = (4!+1)(2) = (24+1)(2) = 25(2)=50.

Maybe (10)(10)/(1+0+1) = 100/2=50? Assuming digits can be merged?

This should probably be specified in the problem description. It was obviously unclear considering you had to clarify this in almost every single solution.

(1010) * (101) in binary format = 10 * 5
= 50

Hi Calvin, I have a very kind and humble point to point out. when I look at all answers yesterday and found out that people are using the tricks of combining the digits, so very first I pointed out this thing to @Никола Пејић that, it is not allowed, you can see my comment there. Now question arises WHY SO MANY PEOPLE TOOK THAT APPROACH OF COMBINING DIGITS? If you see the question, question itself is presented in such a way that people automatically gets tends to combine the digits, because there is no instruction there, whether these are all separate digits or not? Hence question itself needs to modify. Instead of 1 0 1 0 1 0 1 = 50, if it has been presented in such a way like 1, 0, 1, 0, 1, 0, 1 = 50 or in the bottom a note which says "all 1 and 0 are separate digits and cannot treat 1 0 as 10(ten) or any" then people would have total Pure mathematical approach. Since it is Zandra Vinegar's problem, did they explicitly state that anywhere? I sure haven't seen an explicit statement that said that.

Why not: (10 x 10) / (1+0+1)

Well, How can you combine 1 and 0 and make 10, the question has given separate digits. Which operator did you use to make 10 from 1 and 0? Actually publisher of question should put comma between each digit in from of 1,0,1,0,1,0,1 so people do not get confuse and have right approach for pure mathematics. If trick is allowed then your answer is also right.
