A race in straight line
Three friends, Albert, Bernard and Carlos started a race in a straight path. They were in constant speed in all the time. When Albert finished the race, Bernard was 36 meters before the end and Carlos was 46 meters before the end. When Bernard finished the race Carlos was 16 meters before the end.
What is the length of this path?

By the time B runs the remaining 36, C lags by another 6 [lag increases from (46-36 =)10 to 16]. So C must have lagged by 10 during the time B covered 60. Hence the total length of the lap was 60 + 36 =96 (Answer)
