Algebra Level pending

Suppose a shopkeeper gives a discount of 50% on a cloth and he also adds 50% further discount. So what is total discount any customer can get ?

Let the cost be 100.
So, after 1st discount, its price = 100 - 50 = 50
After 2nd discount its price = 50 - 25 = 25.
Overall discount = (100-25)/100*100 = 75%
