Who stole the gold bar. There were 3 suspects; Bob, Carley, Finn. Bob says he didn’t steal it. Carley says Bob stole it. Finn says Carley stole it. Who stole the gold bar?

We don't know who's lying, or how many of them are lying, so the answer is "Not enough information"!

Strictly speaking you are correct, but I believe that assuming the persons are at least partly rational (i.e. the thief tries to deny his guilt and the innocent deny their guilt / denounce the thief), the only logical explanation is that Carley stole the bar.

If Bob stole the bar, then Finn (innocent) would not blame Carley (innocent). If Finn stole the bar, then Carley (innocent) would not blame Bob (innocent). If Carley stole the bar, then: - Bob defends his innocence - Finn denounces the thief - Carley tries to blame somebody else to save himself
