A marble problem

You have six marbles--1 green, 2 blue, 3 red--in a bag and pull them out one by one without replacement.

What is the probability of pulling 1 red, 1 blue, 1 blue, 1 red, 1 green, and 1 red in that order?

1/2 1/84 1/30 1/18 1/10 1/20 1/60 1/54

There are six marbles in total. Let us find the probabilities of the scenario given above. The probability of getting a red the first time is: 3/6 or 1/2. The P(Blue being second) = 2/5. The rest follow respectively: 1/4, 2/3, 1/2, 1. Multiplying all the outcomes we get: 1/60 or approximately 1.6%
