The numbers in this sequence appear to be all multiples of 3 3 . By dividing all the numbers of this sequence by 3 3 , we get: 1 , 4 , 9 , 16 , 25... 1,4,9,16,25... The square numbers. Thus we can deduce that the next term will be the 6 t h { 6 }^{ th } square number term multiplied by 3 3 . Therefore, the answer is 36 × 3 = 108 36\times 3=108
