For each five apples he buys, Mohammad receives an additional apple. Therefore he receives 5 additional apples for the 25 he bought. So he got 5 more apples, for which he receives again one additional apple. Since 5 + 1 = 6 5 + 1 = \boxed{6} , Mohammad receives 6 additional apples, which gives us 31 \boxed{31} in total.

On the other hand, the additional apples are 'given'. Not 'sold'...
