The number of seconds in 6 weeks is

6 × 7 × 24 × 60 × 60 6 \times 7 \times 24 \times 60 \times 60

= 2 8 3 4 5 2 7 =2^{8}*3^4*5^2*7

= 2 × 3 × 2 2 × 5 × ( 2 × 3 ) × 7 × 2 3 × 3 2 × ( 2 × 5 ) = 2 \times 3 \times 2^2 \times 5 \times (2\times 3) \times 7 \times 2^3 \times 3^2 \times (2 \times 5)

= 2 × 3 × 4 × 5 × 6 × 7 × 8 × 9 × 10 =2 \times 3 \times 4 \times 5 \times 6 \times 7 \times 8 \times 9 \times 10

= 10 ! = 10!

Guess:

  1. 60! is too big. So it can not be an answer.

  2. The number of total seconds in 6 weeks at least has 2 zero in the last (Because of 60*60). The answer can not be 8! or 9! (Both have only one zero at last).

Therefore the anwser is 10!

Six weeks contains 6 * 7 * 24 * 3600 seconds. Starting from 2, keep removing numbers from the above multiplication. You will be left with 10. Ans = 10!

Simple method is count number of zeroes in the product ( of 6 weeks), without actually multiplying the factors ( it comes out to be two zeroes) . That knocks out 8,9 straightaway. And 60! is a large number to have just two zeroes. So, 10 is the answer.

We know a day contains 86400 seconds and one week consists of 7 days, so 6 weeks will have 86400 7 6 seconds = 3628800 = 10!

----------------> 1,814,400 / 3 = 604,800

---------------->---151,200 / 5 = 30,240
---------------->-----30,240 / 6 = 5,040
---------------->-------5,040 / 7 = 720
---------------->---------720 / 8 = 90
---------------->-----------90 / 9 = 10
---------------->---------10 / 10 = 1

so essentially you do a n factorial backwards, where n= the humber that you have to divide by itself

Six weeks = 10! seconds. Because 6 weeks × 7 days × (8×3) hours × (4×√9×5) mins × (2×√9×10) secs = 1×2×3×4×5×6×7×8×9×10 = 10!

There are 24 hours in a day (8 x 3)

There are 3600 seconds in an hour (10 x 9 x 5 x 4 x 2)
