x is 24 th letter 24*25/2=300

but 23*24/2=276

288>276

hence it should be 24 th letter

so answer is x

You just have to add all the digits from 1 to 26 till the number is smaller than 288.Hence the number would be 276 which we have to obtain by adding all the digits from 1 to 23.Hence ,the answer would be the 24 letter of the alphabetical order which we know is x.
