Ace, jack, king and queen

Logic Level 2

Shadlee has 1 card, Ishti has 1 card, I have 1 card and Ahnaf has 1 card but we don't know who has got what. Ishti always tells the truth, Ahnaf always lies and Shadlee and I at times tell the truth and at times we lie. Ishti says she has jack, Ahnaf says he has Ace, Shadlee says he has king and I say I have queen. What are the number of possible ways the cards could have distributed?

The answer is 4.

Shadlee's King card is in the truth teller's hand, so it's already safe there.

The answer is 4. The possible arrangements are: 1. I-jack, A-king, S-Ace, T-queen 2. I-jack, A-king, S-queen, T-Ace 3. I-jack, A-queen, S-Ace, T-king 4. I-jack, A-queen, S-king, T-Ace

But why can't you have an 8, for example? You should specify that only the jack, queen, king, and ace are being used.
