Alkynes are sp hybridised where as alkenes are sp2 hybridised and alkanes are sp3 hybridised.
Alkynes - sp hybridised
Alkenes - sp2 hybridised
Alkanes - sp3 hybridised
The acidity of the compound increases with increase in % of the s- character . Where alkanes have 25% s-character, alkenes have 33.3% s-character and alkynes have 50% s-character.
As the s-character increases the electron withdrawing nature increases and even due to more electron withdrawing nature H+ ions are easily liberated resulting in more acidity of the compound.
In methane release of H+ is not possible easily hence they are least acidic.
The order of acidity is: Alkyne > Alkene > Alkane > Methane.
