An aeroplane flies 400m North and 300m South and then flies 1200m upwards. To the nearest meter, what is the net displacement?

Apparently, it has to be represented on a 3D Cartesian plane, where N,S,W,E are on a flat surface and there are two more, Upward and Downward.
Since the flight flies N 400, S 300 and then U 1200, the displacement from the actual point is 1200m.
