(C+B)-12=A+B That gives us C-12=A C-A=12; Thus, C is older than A by 12 years :)

Wrong solution

It should be A+B=B+C+12

so A=C+12

This means C is 12 year younger than A.

(A+B) = 12 + (B+C). => A = 12 + C, Thus, C is 12 yrs older than A

We have

A+B=B+C+12

so A=C+12

that means C is 12 year younger than A.

(A+B)-(B+C)=12;A-C=12
