This probably has been taken from Facebook , hasn't it? That's a real bad site to study.

Solution:

When I was 10 10 , my sister was 5 5 .

Now I am 50 = 10 + ( 40 ) 50 = 10 + (40) , my sister is 5 + ( 40 ) = 45 5 + (40) = 45 .

Half of ten is 5 so when I was ten my sister was 5

that is 5 less than 10

so when I am 50 she will be 5 less than me so

50 - 5 = 45

its clearly expressed in the question that when the person was 10 her sister was half of his age that is 5 years and now as per the question when the person grew up and is now of 50 years this clearly implies that.. sisters age will be 45 (50-5) because the difference between their ages is just 5years......
