There are several ways to solve this. You could find the value of n, which comes about as 42x7/3. Now, 5/7 of this is 5x42x7/7x3. It's just a matter of cancellation to get, 5x42/3. Finally 14x5 =70. Another method is to ascertain how much larger 5/7 is from 3/7. This will come about as 5/3. Now 5/3 of 42 is 70.
