Moderator note:
Simple standard approach.
The side length of the big triangle is 3 6 = 2 .
The side length of the smaller equilateral triangle is therefore 2 2 = 1 as they all have the same side lengths.
Each small triangle has perimeter 3 × 1 = 3 . Our answer is:
3 × 4 = 1 2
