All ratios that glitter are surely golden

The golden ratio is a phenomenon often termed by mathematicians as among the most important features that we use along with our aesthetic sense. It is unique as it is the only number that satisfies a certain condition. If the golden ratio approximately equal to 1.61803398875

or = [1+5^(1/2)] / 2

what condition does it satisfy?

x^(1/2) = 2x^(1/4) x!/x^(3/2) = 1 13x^3 + 13 = 17x^2 + 17 x^2 = x+1
