Remember: PEMDAS/BODMAS

2 × 2 − 2 2 ÷ 2 + 2 = 2 × 2 − 4 ÷ 2 + 2 = 4 − 2 + 2 = 4 2 \times 2 - \color{#3D99F6}{2^2} \div 2 + 2\\ =\color{#D61F06}{2 \times 2} - \color{#69047E}{4 \div 2} + 2\\ =4 - 2 + 2\\ =\boxed{4}
