Pair up all the real numbers ( − 1 , 1 ) , ( − 2 , 2 ) . . . . . . . . ( − ∞ , ∞ ) (-1,1),(-2,2)........(-\infty,\infty) .The sum of each set is 0 hence the total is also 0 and the mean is 0.
