Dihydrogen means the molecule has 2 hydrogen atoms, and monoxide means the molecule has 1 oxygen atom. Also known as: H 2 O H_2O .

Then H X 2 O = \ce { H2O } = water?

Di means two( 2 2 ). Mono means one( 1 1 ). So, a molecule of the substance has 2 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 1 oxygen atom. So, the chemical formula of that substance is H X 2 O \ce{H2O} .
