An ammeter is a measuring instrument used to measure the electric current in a circuit. Electric currents are measured in amperes (A), hence the name. The above is a demonstration model of a moving iron ammeter. As the current through the coil increases, the plunger is drawn further into the coil and the pointer deflects to the right. If the maximum electric power that can be used in a house is 4.62 4.62 kW and the voltage is 220 220 V, then what is the maximum current?

10.164 A 21 A 1.0164 A 2.1 A

V^2/R= 4620 W => V/R= I= 4620/220= 21 A

that's right buddy
