Since (2x)^2+((4x+22)^1/2))^2=25

=>4x^2+4x+22=25

=>4x^2+4x-3=0

Since it is a quadratic equation

therefore its factors are (2x-1) & (2x+3)

Since 2x+3 is not possible because the sides of a triangle will not be a negative integer

therefore the value of x is 2x-1=0

=>2x=1

=>x=1/2

=>x=0.5

5^2=(2x)^2+(root (4x+22))^2 so 4x^2+4x-3=0

so (2x-1)(2x+3)=0

so x=1/2 and x=-3/2 but x=-3/2 is not possible so

x=1/2=0.5
