13 X = 52 X = 4 Y 4 = 81 Y = ± 3 13X=52\Rightarrow X=4\\Y^4=81\Rightarrow Y=\pm 3

( X Y ) 2 = ( ± 12 ) 2 = 144 (XY)^2=(\pm12)^2=144
