distance need to be travelled = sum of both the trains =40 + 60 = 100m speed of first train =36 km/hr=36 5/18=10m/s speed of second train = 54km/hr =54 5/18=15m/s so distance travelled by both trains in 1 second = 15 + 10 = 25m time taken = 100/25 = 4 seconds *The velocity of air does not effect as it opposes one motion and supports one motion equally.
