Given that,

y = 93 73 = 20 \Rightarrow y = 93 - 73 = 20

Now,

x + 13 + y = 73 x + 13 + y = 73

x + 13 + 20 = 73 \Rightarrow x + 13 + 20 = 73

x + 33 = 73 \Rightarrow x + 33 =73

x = 73 33 x = 73 - 33

Therefore x = 40 x = 40

x + 13 + (20) = 73

x + 33 = 73

x = 73 - 33

x = 40.
