For this question it has to be assumed that the time frame in which we are talking is 2015.
So since Trisha is 34 years old she has seen 8 leap years in her life. Since each year the day on the same date advances by 1 ( and in leap year by 2), therefore the total advances in day are 42.
and since 42 is multiple of 7 , thus she was born on as it is in year 2015 on her B'day. :)
