Let dad's age be x and after y years she will be of dads age x

so 6 + y = x i.e. x – y = 6

after y years dad will be x + y years = 64

using x + y = 64 and x – y = 6 olve x = 35

6+(64-6)/2=6+58/2=6+29=35
