suppose, the largest number =x, the another number=y

so,x-y=60 & x/y=7/1

0r,x=60+y.....................(1)

or,x=7y........................(2)

so,60+y=7y [x=x]

or,y=60/6

or,y=10

so,x=7y=7x10=70

I didn't understand the line 60 + y = 7 y 60 + y = 7y .

look at the previous line, from 1 we get ,x=60+y.....................(1)

from 2 we get,x=7y........................(2)

so, 60+y=7y ,

if you want to know more look what i supposed at the beginning.
