I would like to say that this has two solutions: 8 and 0.

Hello & peace be upon you,

let x = the unknown number,

x^2 = ( 0.5x ) ^ 3

x^2(1) = ( 1 / 8 ) x . x^2

x = 8(1) = 8

therefore, x = 8....

maybe it must be 0.5(x)^3 must not include 0.5 in the parenthesis idiot!
