Geometry Level 1

Two angles of a triangle have the same measure. Thw measure of the third angle is 4° less than twice the measure of each of the equal angles. Find the measure of the third angle.

Measures are in degrees.

Hello, peace be upon you,

let x = the angle of each of the sama 2 sides, sum of interior angles of a triangle = 180 degress,

x + x + ( 2x - 4 ) = 180

4x = 184

x = 46 degrees,

since the 3rd angle is = 2x - 4 = 2(46) -4 = 88 degress,
