9 x 2 + 3 y = 85 9x^2+3y =85 = > 3 ( 3 x 2 + y ) = 85 => 3(3x^2+y)=85 Since 85 is not divisible by 3, there is no integral solution.

Therefore, 0 is the answer

9 x 2 + 3 y = 85 3 ( 3 x 2 + y ) = 5 17 9x^2+3y=85 \Rightarrow 3(3x^2+y)=5*17

As L.H.S. is a multiple of 3, and R.H.S. is not, NO Integer Pair satisfies the given relation. Therefore, 0 \boxed{0} is the answer. :)
