A x B= 10000 where A and B are integers which do not end with zero. Find A+B.

10000 = 10^4 = (2^4) * (5^4) .

We get a zero when we multiply a 2 and a 5 so if we want a non zero ending number we just don't have to do it. So we get 16 and 625 as the required numbers. So answer will be 641. 😀😀

10000=2x5x2x5x2x5x2x5 So A=2x2x2x2 A=16 and B=5x5x5x5 B=625 So A+B= 625+16=641

The reason that you need to have all the 2s in one number and all the 5s in another number is because 2*5 = 10, and anything * 10 has a 0 behind it. You missed it in your explanation :)
