3 solutions

A = k B A=\dfrac{k}{B} \color{#D61F06}\implies 10 = k 100 10=\dfrac{k}{100} \color{#D61F06}\implies k = 1000 k=1000

When B = 250 B=250 ,

A = 1000 250 = 4 A=\dfrac{1000}{250}=\boxed{4}

A = x / B 10 = x / 100 x = 1000

A = 1000 / 250 A = 4

Due to the fact that A varies inversely with B , A * B=constant , A*B=10 * 100=1000 If B=250, 250 * A=1000 => A=4
