The variable $A$ varies inversely with $B$ . $A$ is $10$ when $B$ is $100$ .Find $A$ when $B$ is $250$ ?

$A=\dfrac{k}{B}$ $\color{#D61F06}\implies$ $10=\dfrac{k}{100}$ $\color{#D61F06}\implies$ $k=1000$

When $B=250$ ,

$A=\dfrac{1000}{250}=\boxed{4}$

A = x / B 10 = x / 100 x = 1000

A = 1000 / 250 A = 4

Due to the fact that A varies inversely with B , A * B=constant , A*B=10 * 100=1000 If B=250, 250 * A=1000 => A=4
