The total equivalent resistance is:

R T = 1 + 1 2 = 3 2 R_T = 1 + \frac{1}{2} = \frac{3}{2}

The power is:

P = V 2 R T = 100 3 / 2 66.667 P = \frac{V^2}{R_T} = \frac{100}{3/2} \approx 66.667
