An electricity and magnetism problem by Piyush Kumar

A circular coil of area 10 c m 2 10{cm}^{2} is placed in a uniform magnetic field of 25T. The plane of the coil is making an angle of 30 degrees with the direction of the magnetic field . Determine the flux linked with the coil.

The answer is in 'milliWb'. Hence if your answer is 26milliWb, then write just 26.

The answer is 12.5.

Flux, ϕ = A B c o s θ = 10 × 1 0 4 × 25 × c o s ( 90 30 ) o = 12.5 \phi= ABcos \theta = 10 \times 10^-4 \times 25 \times cos (90-30)^o=12.5 mWb
