Speed 40km/hr and traveled for 5 hours Hence 40 5 1000/50=4000

We realize that the speed is in kilometers per hour and the distance between poles is 50 meters. Since the problem does not state the distance to the nearest pole, we assume that it is 50 50 meters. Thus, we multiply 40 km/hr by 5 hours to get a distance traveled of 200 , 000 200,000 meters. Dividing by 5 m , 5 m, we get an answer of 4000 . \boxed{4000}.

Use v=s/t,

s=vt=40(5)=200km

no.of electrical poles=200km/0.05km=4000...
