$From$ $the$ $equations$ $we$ $can$ $say$ $that$ $two$ $straight$ $lines$ $are$ $parallel.$ $So$ $they$ $of$ $course$ $two$ $opposite$ $side$ $of$ $the$ $squre.$ $So$ $their$ $orthogonal$ $distance$ $are$ $equal$ $to$ $the$ $length$ $of$ $the$ $sides$ $of$ $the$ $squre.$ $So$ $their$ $distance$ $is$ $(20-5)/\sqrt{(6^2+8^2)}$ $=$ $15/10=1.5.$ $So$ $area$ $is$ $1.5\times 1.5$ $=$ $2.25$
