We have 2 litre N a O H \ce{NaOH} 1.5N we need to raise the concentration to become 3.6N by adding a known volume from stock solution whose concentration is 5.2N

Then we need to convert all N a O H \ce{NaOH} in the resulting solution (whose concentration is 3.6 and it's volume is unknown) into N a C l \ce{NaCl} by adding H C l \ce{HCl} 37% w/w and it's specific gravity is 1.19 gm/ml and it's molecular weight is 36.46 so calculate the exact volume of H C l \ce{HCl} needed without any excess.

Write the volume in litres to the nearest one decimal.

The answer is 1.4.
