Let the radius of the circle be r units and side of bigger square be x units.AB = AD = 5 .OP = OC = radius = r . From Pythagoras theorem , r^2 = x^2 +(x/2)^2 r^2 = 5^2 + (5+x/2)^2 .Solving the two equations , we get x= 10 (since negative value lapses). And we are done!

This question has a flaw . How do you know that the centre of circle lies on the midpoint of larger square ?? Atleast you have to mention it . Or prove it !!
